Baby photos for grandparents, without the group chat
Most grandparents get baby photos third-hand: forwarded from a group chat, a day late, squashed by compression. Aanvi gives them their own way in, so they see each photo when you post it and can answer back.
Their own login, not a forwarded link
You invite a grandparent from the app and they join as themselves, with their relationship to your child set as grandma or grandpa. Each invite works once and then expires, so it can't be passed around, and only family members you've invited can open your child's memories.
Setup is lighter for them too. Aanvi doesn't require camera or photo-library access from a grandparent the way it does from a parent, because most of them are there to look.
They find out first
Each time you add a photo, video or quote, invited family get a push notification. Grandma sees the first-steps video when you post it, not when someone remembers to send it on.
They can comment and react, and replies thread under the comment, so a conversation about one photo stays with that photo.
Included in your subscription
Relatives you invite are covered by your plan. A grandparent never sees a paywall for your child's memories, and doesn't pay anything.
They can add their own
Grandparents take photos too, often the only ones with you in them. Anyone you invite can add memories to your child's timeline, and each one shows how old your child was that day.
What it doesn't do (yet)
- Grandparents need the app on an iPhone, iPad or Android device. There's no email-only or web version yet.
- If a grandparent doesn't use a smartphone at all, Tinybeans' email updates may suit them better.

- Do grandparents have to pay?
- No. Relatives you invite are covered by the parent's subscription, which is $6.99 a month or $49.99 a year after a 14-day trial.
- Can grandparents see the photos on a computer?
- Not yet. They need the Aanvi app on a phone or tablet.
- Can a grandparent share the photos with someone else?
- There's no public link to the album, and each invite works only once. They can save a photo to their own phone, the same as any photo someone sends them.
