Alternatives

FamilyAlbum alternatives

FamilyAlbum's free plan is generous, so the reasons to leave are rarely about storage. They're about what pays for it: third-party ads, a privacy policy that allows selling cookie data, and paywalls on things like bulk download.

Why people switch

Third-party ads on the free plan
They can't be hidden without paying, and FamilyAlbum's own banners stay even after you do. Source
Selling cookie data, including minors'
The privacy policy says FamilyAlbum has "sold and shared" cookie-related personal information in the last 12 months, including that of users under 16. Source
Getting your photos back out
There's no full export. Bulk download needs the $10.99 a month Family Pro plan and takes 100 items at a time. Source

We make Aanvi, so weigh that when you read this. Everything about the other apps comes from their own websites, help centers, privacy policies and app store listings, checked on November 1, 2026, with US prices. Each fact links to its source. If something has changed, email support@aanvi.app and we'll correct it.

Taking your photos out of FamilyAlbum

FamilyAlbum has no one-click export of everything. Saving one photo at a time is free; saving in bulk needs Premium Family Pro.

  1. For a single photo or video: open the Album tab, tap the item, tap the menu in the top right, then Download.
  2. For bulk: on Premium Family Pro, open the Album tab, tap the menu in the top right, then Bulk Download. It takes up to 100 items at a time in the iPhone app.
  3. For everything at once: order the PC Version DVD from the app's store ($40.99 for the first disc).
