So, we're doing a blog now
We built Aanvi to help parents keep track of their baby's milestones and photos without losing half of them in a camera roll graveyard. But we kept running into the same thing: parents had questions that the app alone couldn't answer.
When does the pincer grasp usually show up? How do you take a decent monthly photo without a studio? What goes in a time capsule that won't feel pointless in 18 years?
We were already researching this stuff to build better tools. Writing it down and sharing it seemed like the obvious next step.
What we'll be posting
Practical parenting content. No fluff, no filler.
- Month-by-month development guides that tell you what to actually look for
- Sleep advice that goes beyond "establish a routine" (thanks, we tried)
- How-to posts for things like baby photos, memory-keeping, and first foods
- Honest notes on using the Aanvi app, including stuff we're still figuring out
We're not pediatricians. We'll always say so when a topic needs a doctor's input. But for the everyday "is this normal and what do I do about it" questions, we can help.
Why now
There's no shortage of parenting content online. The problem isn't quantity. It's that most of it is either a 3,000-word SEO article that takes forever to say anything, or a TikTok that skips the details you actually need.
We wanted to write the kind of posts we'd want to read at 2am while holding a baby who won't sleep. Short enough to finish. Specific enough to be useful.
That's the plan. First real post is already up. More coming weekly.
Check out our free parenting tools if you haven't already.
